Competition Terms & Conditions: Win A Car with Avis South Africa

1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the "Avis Win a Car" competition ("Competition") organized by Zenith Car Rental, trading as Avis Rent a Car ("Organizer").

1.2. By participating in this Competition, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Competition is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years and older.

2.2. Employees of the Organizer, their partners and suppliers, their immediate families, and any other person directly involved with the organization of the Competition are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

3.1. The Competition commences on 1 July 2024 and ends on 30 September 2024 ("Competition Period").

3.2. Entries received after the Competition Period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

4.1. Book and rent an Avis car anytime between 1 July and 30 September 2024, for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 21 days, and you'll be automatically entered into a draw to win.

4.2. Ensure that the rental is completed within South Africa.

4.3. Register your entry at avis.co.za.

5. Prizes

5.1. At the end of the Competition Period, one pre-owned Opel Mokka worth R350,000 will be awarded to the winner. The vehicle will be sourced from the Organizer’s Avis Car Sales inventory.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period by October 2024.

6.2. Winners must respond within 14 days of notification. Failure to respond within this period will result in forfeiture of the prize and a new winner will be selected.

7. General Conditions

7.1. All entries must be original and not violate any third party’s rights.

7.2. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

7.3. The Organizer is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied to the Organizer by any entrant or any other person.

7.4. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered as a result of participating in the Competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

8.2. The Organizer is not liable for any technical or human error that may occur during the administration of the Competition.

9. Publicity

9.1. By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name, image, and entry for promotional purposes without compensation.

10. Privacy

10.1. Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and in accordance with the Organizer's privacy policy.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. Organizer's Details

12.1. The Competition is organized by Avis Rent a Car, South Africa.
