At Avis Budget we run Leadership Development Programmes to grow our managers and supervisors into well-rounded leaders. We offer the following to our managers and supervisors:
Avis Budget Leadership Development Programme
Focuses on growing middle and senior managers in their leadership journey. The programme focuses on exposing them in greater depth to the business context, unpacks our leadership philosophy and standards and assists them in having a positive impact in their teams by delivering on our employee value proposition. The programme also focuses on emotional intelligence to grow our managers into the best leaders they can be.
Avis Budget Supervisory Development Programme
Is a comprehensive learning experience that has been developed for new and existing supervisors in our business. It equips them with the practical skills and tools to fulfil their role from a managerial, leadership and technical perspective and assists them in making the transition from managing self to managing others. On the programme, they are exposed to a number of senior leaders in the business and a solid understanding of what it means to be a successful supervisor in our organisation is created. The outcome of the programme is to develop confident supervisors who can plan, organise and control their resources as well as confident leaders who can inspire, motivate and coach their teams to greater heights.

We provide learnership opportunities ( ranging from NQF 1 to NQF 6 ) to brand ambassadors who meet the legibility criteria, as well as offer support for accredited, external studies at accredited, reputable learning institutions.Individual development plans are put in place for all employees and therefore allow for clear training paths. Internal training programmes, that are designed and benched marked against industry standards and trends, include induction, soft skills and technical training. These offerings provide employees with the necessary and relevant training for their roles within the organisation.
