Rent a bicycle rack with your Avis Car
Don't leave your bike behind!
We know what it's like trying to fit a bicycle into the back of a car. Taking the tyres off, adjusting the seat down (and trying to get the seat back into to that perfect position again later) and trying every possible position to save space. It's not easy.
So here's the good news
You can now rent bicycle racks with your Avis rental car for R150 (incl VAT) per day! Whether you're doing the Cape Town Cycle Tour or something more grueling like the joBerg2C or Absa Cape Epic, you can now put your bikes on the back of the car and still have the backseat free for your supporters.
You can either book a bicycle rack when booking your rental car or, if you've already booked a car, contact our National Call Centre on 0861 021 111 to have one added.
Please note that bicycle racks may only be rented with an Avis rental car. An existing Avis reservation number will need to be supplied in order for us to complete your request.
BICYCLE RACK TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- In the event of total loss/damage to the bicycle rack, you will be charged a sum of R3500.
- In the event that a part of the bicycle rack needs to be replaced, you will be charged a sum of R500 per part.
- Should you wish to return the bicycle rack at another location different from where you collected your vehicle, a One Way Fee of R500 applies.
