Avis makes generous donation to Reach For A Dream
Avis’ commitment to fulfilling the dreams of children with life threatening illnesses in South Africa has seen the company make a donation of R100, 000.00 to the Reach For A Dream Foundation. The generous donation was a result of proceeds from the sale of used GPS units by the Avis Operations team over the past 12 months."We are thrilled to be able to make this donation," stated Corne Langenhoven, Executive Operations at Avis Rent a Car. “Our long standing relationship with Reach For A Dream has seen us try harder to inspire hope to young South Africans and make their dreams come true.
“We are grateful for Avis’ generous donation and support, through which ten of our national projects have been accelerated seeing more children realize their dreams,” says Natalie Lazaris, Business Development Manager at Reach For A Dream Foundation.
“We are proud to be driven by a workforce that supports and engages in activities to improve society as this makes us an Employer of Choice. The donation is an extension of our national community engagement programs. Through our work with Reach For A Dream, 150 children’s dreams are set to come true as they continue on their road to recovery,” concludes Langenhoven.
