Avis heats up season with red-hot prizes
Avis customers stand to drive off with some warm winter prizes – including a VW Polo Vivo– as Avis puts the heat into the season with an exciting competition for Avis Preferred members.
All Avis Preferred members with completed rentals over the two months from 1 June to 31 July 2018 will be automatically entered into a random draw for a chance to win big in the Avis Brand Campaign. Weekly prizes, including adventure vouchers, will also be offered on social media.
Besides a grand prize of a VW Polo Vivo, lucky-draw prizes are up for grabs for customers who sign up and rent with Avis Preferred during the Avis Brand Campaign including a trip-for-two weekend packages to Mauritius and Zanzibar or an MSC Cruise to Mozambique. Existing Avis Preferred members will be automatically entered into the competition.
“The Avis Brand Campaign is our way of giving back to our loyal customers, and encouraging them to join the Avis Preferred programme,” said Rainer Gottschick, Chief Executive: Avis Rent a Car southern Africa. “Avis Preferred is the fastest way to rent a car – members simply show their driver’s licence and drive off. There is no signing of rental agreements, and membership is free.”
To participate in the competition, Avis customers must sign up to become Avis Preferred members, which also offers perks such as exclusive access to the newest Avis cars and is available at more than 3 300 locations worldwide.
“Joining Avis Preferred is a great way for customers to get the most out of renting from Avis – at no extra charge,” said Gottschick. “At the same time, they stand to win great prizes in the Avis Brand Campaign. The more you rent, the more we give. It’s our way of saying thank you.”
