Those little extras
You will be met by an Avis Luxury Cars Brand Ambassador at the destination of your choice. Remember, our Luxury Cars Brand Ambassadors are dressed in classic black suits and not the traditional Avis red uniforms.
For your comfort and enjoyment, your vehicle will be equipped with a range of little luxuries to make your journey all the more memorable:

- Auxiliary Connector
- A GPS unit
- An umbrella
On request, we can also provide special items such as flowers, champagne, chocolates and balloons. If you need anything else, we’ll be glad to assist where we can.
How to maximize your experience
Additional services available exclusively to our Luxury Cars and Chauffeur Drive customers. Enquire about these additional charges at time of reservation. A 72-hour notification of these services is required.
The check-out / collection procedure
All customers are met personally by an Avis Luxury Cars Brand Ambassador, who will be holding a welcome board with the customer name on it. The signage is not marked with Avis Luxury Cars to provide you with an understated service. If you do not want your name used on the sign to protect your identity, please provide us with a name that we should use on the sign and which you will respond to.With airport collections, the Avis Brand Ambassador will wait as close to the baggage clearance doors as possible, unless otherwise arranged. Hotel collections are made in the hotel foyer after calling the concierge to advise the customer.
Additional charges (if applicable)
Additional kilometers, liability in case of damage and/or theft, delivery, collection and one way fees, additional driver fee, accident management fee, traffic fine administration fee, fuel, baby seats or booster seats, excess baggage levy, no shows and late cancellation fees.

Renter Requirements
Renters must be a minimum of 25 years old. When the renter is under the age of 30 years the responsibility amount is higher. Renters under 25 years of age will be subject to management discretion and a young driver surcharge will apply.
For certain vehicle types the higher responsibility amount and minimum renter age of 30 years apply.
The renter is obligated to inform Avis Luxury Cars of an additional driver. The driver is subject to the same conditions as the renter. If Avis Luxury Cars is not informed, all waivers accepted will become null and void.
It is a legal requirement in South Africa for drivers to be in possession of their original driver’s license at all times whilst driving a vehicle.

Terms & Conditions
Cancellations / No-shows / Penalties
- All confirmed bookings cancelled more than 7 days prior to the checkout of the rental will not be subject to a cancellation fee.
- All confirmed bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to the checkout will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the rental at the contracted rate.
- Cancellation or amendments less than 3 days before the check-out date will attract a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the charge of the confirmed booking, depending on the rate.
- Once the rental has commenced the number of rental days confirmed to the customer will be billed irrespective of whether the customer terminates the rental earlier than reserved. No refund will be processed in this instance.
- All no shows not cancelled in writing, will be billed to the customer as per the agreed quote. No refunds will be entertained.
