From humble beginnings in 1998 with a fleet of only 15, the first Avis Van Rental office opened it’s doors in Cape Town. Soon thereafter commenced a gradual and controlled network expansion programme, with additional offices opening in Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth – more offices followed and today we have a total of 30 Van Rental locations nationwide.
Our success can be attributed to a combination of the strength of the AVIS brand, its global network and infrastructure and the entrepreneurial flair of the owner managed licensee concept. Avis Van Rental offers a wide range of bakkies, open and closed vans and LDV’s for commercial and single and double cab 4×4’s for commercial or leisure use. Our fleet have been extended to include 5 and, or 8 ton trucks (open and, or closed) available at selected stations.
