Avis Van Rental Vereeniging

The newly established Avis Van Rental branch in Vereeniging, is the second in the company’s extensive network to be black-owned.

The station, which opened in October 2007, is managed by Carole Mahlangu who comes with a wealth of Avis experience spanning over seven years in the car rental industry and has two staff members. Carole will have the responsibility of expanding Avis Van Rental business interests in the city as well as the surrounding areas, especially Vanderbijlpark, Heidelberg, Meyerton, Sasolburg, Parys and Heilbron.

The fairly new station which already has a fleet that ranges from half and 1tonne either open or closed petrol and diesel vans to 4x4 double cabs, plans to expand its fleet in the coming year through support from businesses; corporate, private / public entities, travel agencies and leisure market. The Avis brand, commitment, dedication and excellent customer service delivery has proved we hold our own through a keen team effort. The branch will stand to benefit significantly from the Gauteng provincial government’s commitment to develop small and medium sized businesses, in conjunction with the existing licensees.
