Avis Van Rental Emalahleni

Avis Van Rental has extended its operation to the Witbank, Middleburg and Standerton areas by opening an office in Emalahleni.

Local licensee Leonard Clarke has access to training, marketing and sales support, the worldwide Wizard computer reservation system and will has the opportunity to benefit from Avis’s substantial buying power. He already has a fleet ranging from half-ton to 4x4 vehicles, which incorporate all leading manufacturers, at his disposal.

The office is owned and managed by a local entrepreneur, and as such, is expected to make a significant contribution to local employment opportunities and economic growth within the community.

“This is our second office in the Mpumalanga province which means that we are developing a competitive advantage in that area,” says Avis Van Rental sub licensee director, Linda Lombard. “The office in Witbank is, therefore, a great milestone for Avis Van Rental in that we are realising our goal of expanding our branch network to achieve full coverage of South Africa,” she said.

Avis van Rental already has a network of 15 operations throughout South Africa, specialising in light-to-medium commercial vehicles and 4x4s. It provides businesses with an efficient and affordable rental facility for back-up and replacement vehicles, saving them the money and management effort that would otherwise have to be committed to maintaining a larger in-house fleet.
