With the country focused on preserving the limited water resources available, Avis has remained steadfast in its resolve to advance and lead water saving in the car rental industry.Encouraging a longer term water efficiency ethic in its business, Avis saved 1.49 million litres during the 2017 financial year by harvesting water in their wash bays at Avis Head Office, Cape Town International, King Shaka International, Nelspruit and Port Elizabeth Airports.
In total, we saved just over one billion litres of water through rain harvesting and water recycling initiatives since 2007.
